Mr. Charlotte Van der Gucht graduated in 2020 with high distinction in the Master ‘Advanced LLM International Children’s Rights’ at the University of Leiden. Prior to that, Charlotte obtained her Bachelor’s degree at the Université de Namur and her first Master’s degree in Law at the Catholic University of Leuven. During her studies, she also did a three-month internship in Israel. In addition to her work, she is currently studying for her third master’s degree: the Notarial degree.

Since 2021, Charlotte has been a lawyer within our Private and Family Law department. In order to assist her clients in the best possible way, Charlotte also took various trainings in strong soft skills. For instance, she passed the Leadership Programme of ULeiden with distinction, where the focus was on communication techniques, negotiating and mediating. She uses these skills in her work with clients, combined with excellent stress-resistance and strong focus.

Charlotte has strong legal language skills, having studied in French, English and Dutch.

Besides her academic challenges, Charlotte is an enthusiastic volunteer. She is a founding member of Rotaract Club (Waasland), a youth worker during the summer and she founded the bicycle library ‘Op Wielekes Temse’.

Finally, Charlotte likes to indulge in sports outside working hours. She likes running, playing tennis and skiing.
