Eugénie Carrez

Mr. Eugénie Carrez specializes in business law, particularly corporate law and M&A. She combines her expertise as a lawyer with extensive experience as a legal counsel across various sectors, resulting in a pragmatic, entrepreneurial mindset highly appreciated by clients.

Eugénie earned a Bachelor\’s degree in Legal Practice in 2007 and subsequently completed a Master\’s degree in Law at Ghent University in 2010. More recently, in 2015, she enhanced her academic background with a Master after Master\’s in Corporate Law at KU Leuven (Brussels Campus).

As a Legal Counsel, Eugénie gained experience at Deloitte Fiduciaire in Kortrijk, specializing in corporate law and real estate. She also served as an in-house corporate lawyer in various sectors, including Think2Act, Ghysel & De Lombaerde, ArcelorMittal, TotalEnergies, and Van Havermaet.

During her five-year tenure as an attorney at the Ghent Bar with the law firm Storme, Leroy, Van Parys, Eugénie handled complex cases in broad business law, particularly in corporate law, in Dutch, French, and English.

Eugénie joined DGDM in 2024. With her extensive legal background, including experience in the daily operations of businesses, she is ready to assist and advise clients in business law and corporate law.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Eugénie is actively involved in community life. Since 2006, she has been a member of Junior Chamber International (JCI), where she served as the national president in 2023, representing JCI Belgium worldwide for one year. Additionally, she enjoys running, savoring culinary experiences, and traveling.
