Bjarne Dooms

Bjarne Dooms graduated with high distinction in 2021 as Master of Laws from Ghent University. Driven by his fascination for innovation and technology, Bjarne focused during his studies on data protection, intellectual property, and business law. To further deepen his knowledge of emerging technologies and their legal implications, he pursued an advanced LL.M. in IP & IT at KU Leuven. This allowed him to further specialize in these legal domains.

After his studies, Bjarne gained several years of experience at a boutique law firm focused on intellectual property, ICT, and data protection. Since April 2025, Bjarne has been part of DGDM’s Data, Tech & Entertainment team, where he combines technical expertise with a pragmatic approach in complex cases.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Bjarne cycling, enjoying a good (rock) concert, or immersed in a gripping book.
