Mr. Sara Lefebvre: experienced lawyer specializing in inheritance law and family property law
With 25 years of experience in the legal profession, Sara has developed into a driven and knowledgeable specialist in inheritance law and family property law. Her analytical skills, deep legal knowledge, and empathetic approach enable her to assist clients with complex legal and financial issues.

From 2010 onwards, she was a partner at Ryckaert & Partners, where she focused on the settlement and distribution of marital estates, undivided estates, and inheritances, often involving companies and agricultural enterprises. Additionally, she handled disputes related to gifts, wills, and the conversion of usufruct. Her expertise also extended to family law, leasehold law, and real estate disputes.

Alongside her legal practice, she shared her academic knowledge as a part-time assistant and practical instructor at the Department of Civil Law of Ghent University. In this role, she guided first-year students, provided practical exercises, and supported professors with legal research and publications.

Before becoming a partner at Ryckaert & Partners, she led her own law firm for six years, where she was responsible not only for managing various legal cases but also for the organization and growth of the firm.

Since January 2025, she has strengthened the Family Law & Family Property Law team under the leadership of Mr. Ellen Moreau, where she applies her extensive expertise to provide clients with high-level legal assistance.

Her strength lies in the clear analysis of legal issues, finding pragmatic solutions, and guiding clients in a decisive yet empathetic manner, often in emotionally charged situations.

Expertise:
