Shae Devuyst

In 2024, Shae obtained her Master of Laws with distinction from the University of Brussels (Vrije Universiteit Brussel). During her studies, she spent a semester at the Universitat de Valencia in Spain, broadening her legal perspective in an international context.

She completed an internship at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Ghent, where her interest in criminal law was further strengthened. During her internship, she also took part in the pleading exercise at the Dendermonde Bar, where trainee lawyers compete against each other in a mock trial. Shae represented the civil party in a stalking case and was declared the winner.

Shae is perfectly bilingual in Dutch and French, and speaks fluent English. Her language skills make her the ideal lawyer for cases with an international dimension or multilingual context.

In her spare time, Shae enjoys dining out with friends, reading a good book or going for a run. She also feels right at home in the gym or on the tennis court.
