Stijn Vanherck first obtained his degree in Legal Practice from PXL University of Applied Sciences and Arts. He subsequently completed a bridging programme in Law and obtained his Master’s degree in Law from KU Leuven. Stijn speaks Dutch and English and also has a working knowledge of French.

During his studies, Stijn gained practical experience through several internships. As part of his Legal Practice programme, he completed a semester-long internship at Monard Law. He also worked as a trainee parliamentary group assistant in the Flemish Parliament and gained experience as an intern in a federal ministerial cabinet.

The innovative approach of De Groote – De Man immediately appealed to him. For Stijn, the firm offers the ideal environment in which to learn the legal profession and continue developing his expertise in real estate law. The firm’s wide range of legal practice areas and the opportunity to collaborate beyond the boundaries of his own specialisation also closely align with his interests.

Outside the office, Stijn is particularly active. He was a competitive cyclist for five years and still regularly enjoys cycling and running. He also appreciates fine dining.
