Victor Boury obtained his Master of Laws in 2024 with distinction. Driven by his interest in property law and family (estate) law, he went on to pursue an advanced Master’s in Notarial Law, which he successfully completed with distinction in June 2025. His academic dedication was further recognised when he received the award for Best Master’s Thesis in Notarial Law 2025. During his studies, Victor also spent a semester abroad at the University of Copenhagen, an enriching experience both academically and personally.

Victor gained practical experience through student jobs at a law firm in Ghent. He also completed an internship at a notary office and a summer traineeship at a law firm in Kortrijk focusing on family law and estate planning. Another valuable learning experience was his involvement with VZW Op Krot, a student organisation that provides free legal advice to students facing rental issues. Starting as a junior legal advisor, he advanced the following academic year to Chief Legal Officer, becoming ultimately responsible for the legal operations.

Victor’s choice for DGDM was deliberate: from the very first contact, he felt a strong connection with the firm’s values and modern vision. The young, innovative team and the strong focus on property law – his preferred area of practice – made DGDM the perfect fit for him.

In his spare time, Victor enjoys sports such as cycling, swimming, and running. He also appreciates spending time with friends, relaxing with a good series, or supporting Club Brugge at home games, where he is a loyal season ticket holder. In addition, he is an active member of a carnival association in Zottegem.
