Ellen De Grendel

Ellen De Grendel studied Economics in Brussels and subsequently obtained a Master in Management from Antwerp Management School. Throughout her career, Ellen has completed several courses in coaching and artificial intelligence, further developing her expertise and applying it to create a greater impact on the organisation, its people and its business results.

With 22 years of experience, Ellen brings a broad professional background spanning a variety of sectors, including retail, tourism, technology, the audiovisual industry and executive search. In her previous roles, she combined organisational, financial and HR responsibilities. As Practice Manager, she draws on this wide-ranging experience to work alongside the teams in building sustainable growth, efficient structures and strong internal collaboration.

De Groote – De Man closely reflects her own entrepreneurial mindset. Ellen enjoys working in an environment that critically evaluates itself, embraces innovation and actively seeks to challenge its sector. The firm’s forward-thinking approach and clear commitment to innovation gave her confidence that she would be joining an organisation ready for the future. Together with the firm’s ambitions for further professionalisation and growth, this ultimately convinced her to join De Groote – De Man.

As Practice Manager, Ellen has the opportunity to help shape a new role and support the organisation’s continued development. It is a challenging position that brings change, which is precisely why it suits her so well.

Outside work, music and travel are Ellen’s main interests. With two young children, adventurous trips are currently less easy to organise. Nevertheless, she enjoys travelling with her family just as much, for example to Efteling or Beekse Bergen.
