Arthur Tuerlinckx – Real Estate Law

For Arthur, DGDM’s DNA can be captured in three words: innovative, quality-driven, and human. This combination was decisive in his decision to join the firm.
“DGDM combines a modern approach with substantive sharpness and a strong team culture. Here, you can grow while truly making an impact for clients.”

Arthur deliberately chose real estate and construction law. The complexity and dynamic nature of real estate and construction matters strongly appeal to him. They combine legal and technical issues and require thoughtful timing and negotiation. It is precisely this mix that motivates him: analysing sharply, thinking strategically ahead, and arriving at solutions that are not only legally sound but also practically feasible. Construction cases with a strategic dimension particularly attract his interest.

His advice to his 18-year-old self? Acta, non verba. No words, but deeds — a mindset he consistently applies in his professional approach.

To stay up to date in an ever-evolving legal landscape, Arthur combines specialised databases such as Jura and Legidex with internal knowledge sharing: brief updates and regular sparring with colleagues.

Arthur greatly admires Marie Popelin, a pioneer of the Belgian women’s movement and, in 1888, the first woman in Belgium to obtain a doctorate in law. When she was denied access to the legal profession solely because she was a woman, she became a powerful symbol in the fight for women’s rights.

Outside the legal profession, Arthur can be found on the ski slopes every year — the ideal way to clear his mind and return with renewed focus. He likes to start his day with “Hate It or Love It” by The Game & 50 Cent — an energetic kickstart with the right mindset.

Romy D’Hoe – Corporate Law

For Romy, the DNA of DGDM can be summed up in three words: ambitious, sharp, and future-oriented. That combination was decisive for her decision to join the firm. “DGDM is a place where you are challenged to contribute to sustainable growth, in an environment that truly values collaboration and shared ambition.”

Romy consciously chose the Corporate Law team. For her, this field is about structure, strategy, and trust: guiding entrepreneurs through decisions that fundamentally shape their journey. She is particularly drawn to cases with a strategic dimension, where negotiation, long-term vision, and a thoughtful approach come together.

Her advice to her 18-year-old self? “Confidence grows by doing, not by waiting.” This mindset also informs her professional approach: daring to act, learning along the way, and always thinking ahead. To stay up to date in a constantly evolving legal landscape, Romy combines specialized databases such as Jura with economic news, ensuring her legal advice is always embedded in a broader context.

Romy looks up to Nelson Mandela. His moral strength, reconciliation, and unwavering dignity under extreme pressure show her that real impact begins with integrity.

Outside of law, Romy recharges by traveling, discovering new places, spending time with loved ones, and taking long walks that clear her mind. She likes to start her day with “Je veux” by Zaz — an energetic and positive kickstart.
