Local anchoring – larger expansion strategy

The integration of a new team and a new location is part of DGDM’s ambitious growth plan. After the opening of a third office in Halle mid-2020, we have established that local anchoring remains crucial even in a digitalised world. We can now also offer our existing services from Hasselt.

“Hasselt, as the capital of the province of Limburg, with only friendly people, was very high on our list of new branches,” says Jeroen De Man, founder of De Groote – De Man.

Expansion in expertise

Thanks to this integration, we can offer our existing clientele additional expertise and services. Stefanie Debeuf and her team of real estate law experts have in-depth expertise in public procurement, administrative law, spatial planning, environmental law, public-private partnerships, area development and infrastructure projects. De Groote – De Man assists companies and individuals in Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, Data, Tech & Entertainment, Family Law and Criminal Law.

Integration: match in innovative vision on legal practice

The choice to integrate both teams goes beyond a complementary expertise and region. De Groote – De Man and Stefanie share a passion for entrepreneurship and believe in the power and necessity of innovation within the legal profession.

This translates into an efficient and innovative approach. De Groote – De Man has already been honoured at home and abroad for this. For example, the firm won the ‘Financial Times: Most Innovative Lawyers’ award in 2017 and Jeroen De Man is also the ‘founder’ of one of the first ‘legal tech startups’ in Belgium: Unpaid.

“The legal profession of the future must really help people and businesses grow. What does that mean? Efficient solutions, digitalisation, automation. And above all, being an accessible, proactive partner. “, says Ingrid De Poorter, Managing Partner at De Groote – De Man.

What started with a click in vision grew into an ambition to spread that same vision as one team. And the clients are central in this.

“By integrating Stefanie and her team into DGDM, we are continuing on our innovative course as a single force. DGDM has resolutely chosen to be a ‘one-stop-shop’. “According to Ingrid De Poorter.

Stefanie Debeuf new associate partner De Groote – De Man

Stefanie Debeuf, real estate expert and certified mediator, will become associate partner at De Groote – De Man and is looking forward to the future with enthusiasm:

“The innovative vision of De Groote – De Man has been known in the legal world for years. This vision of what the legal profession should be is incredibly similar, the talents and the regions complementary. I am therefore very pleased that we can join them and help write the law of the future,” says Stefanie Debeuf.
